Union Public Service Commission has released the e-Summon letters(Interview call letters) for the candidates who cleared the Indian Forest Service Examination, 2014(IFS (Mains) 2014). The qualified candidates will now sit for the final Personality/ Interview round, to be held by the commission.

Candidates must note that UPSC will not send any e-summon letters by post. It can be downloaded by adding Roll number through UPSC's official website- http://upsc.gov.in/.

The IFS (Mains) was conducted on November 22, 2014. It was conducted in two session; Forenoon and Afternoon session.

The government has changed the pattern of the IFS Examination from the examination year 2013 by introducing a component of screening mechanism through Civil Services (Preliminary) examination. All the candidates applying for Indian Forest Service Examination are therefore required to appear in the civil services (preliminary) examination and qualify the same for going to the second stage of Indian (written and interview).

IFS mains was held at the following centres: Bhopal, Chennai, Delhi, Dispur (Guwahati), Hyderabad, Kolkata, Lucknow, Nagpur, Port Blair and Shimla.

Approximately 85 vacancies were expected to be filled on the basis of the results of the examination.
